K8048 and IC-PROG

I seem to have lost the programming software that came with my K8048 kit and I can't talk to the device with IC-PROG.
In fact, IC-Prog is claiming to talk to; erase; and otherwise communicate WITHOUT THE CABLE ATTACHED.

Hello,

I use the same programmer and is working just fine with the IC-prog software. Be sure to select the JDM settings.
I even use it to program 24Cxx devices via the ISCP header.
