I can't believe my eyes! This sounds too good to be true! I know I'm still a "noob", but I'm a quick learner and I have several projects I've planned on starting even before completely finishing my current "Air Ride Smart Controller". I'd love to be able to showcase the work I've spent so much time studying and reading up on than actually building...
I thought this forum was already "top notch" with so many "gurus" that are more than eager to help out a "noob" like me who reads datasheets, manuals, and searches to find the answer to their problems before they post a cry for help. This is definately a step for the better, even though I thought it couldn't get much better. The only recommendation I had was to suggest a dedicated "Projects" section so forum users could show off their current or finished projects, but this sounds like you've taken it more than just a few steps further.
With all you have planned and are working on, it would make an excellent addition to a resume, for example, to be able to post a link to your own site hosted here that showcases the projects and accomplishments each individual has completed to impress a potential employer. I still can't believe that membership is free for this forum, especially with the additional benefits that we'll soon see...
I really wish I could help out in some way or another with the development of this, but like I said in my post under the "Confused" topic in this section started by Mr. Russ Martin, I don't have the qualifications needed to really assist you much, but I do take pride in the fact that I COULD be a good grammical and punctuation editor. If I could assist you in that manner, please don't hesitate to let me know; I've got a bit of free time between jobs that I could use to help that way and would be more than willing to donate my time assisting you in editing basic English descriptions, guidelines, or anything else that doesn't involve programming...
Or if there's any other areas that you need assistance in that I could possibly help with, I'd be more than willing to...
Thanks again for the great forum, and especially the added benefits you're working on! I hope to be of help in any way I can...
Sincerely,
-Adam Collins
